- Post-op Feedback, a WordPress plugin to solicit feedback from certain people and show it on the website both in human-readable and schema format.
- Deepblu Tools, a toolset to get the most out of Deepblu, my former employer.
- The Deepblu Backup Tool, a rough web wrapper for the main tool, which lets you backup all your dive logs out of the Deepblu cloud in UDDF format. Should anything happen to Deepblu or if you simply want to get your COSMIQ data offline, now you can.
- I’ve become a contributor to Coinprice-indicator, a GTK3-based cryptocurrency price ticker for Ubuntu’s Unity desktop.
- I’ve also made Coindicator, a quick and dirty port of the former for Mac OS X, which is now discontinued as I never want to touch a Mac again.
- Custom changes for Via Video, a service that creates videos that merely need your company’s logo to impress customers and partners alike.
This week, I’ve been mostly coding:
- A PHP parser for the creative commons Chinese-English dictionary CC-Cedict, which uses little memory and is easy on the CPU while producing a fully customizable set of structured dictionary data. It is a fork of and a collaboration with Matthew Sills’ CC-CEdict parser. It’s exciting to get back into programming and for the first time using GIT for actual collaboration.
- Yushan Energy, a homepage for a wind energy project in Taiwan. Very basic layout with lots of customizability. Custom theme and plugins.
- Op Wielekes, a re-using platform for used kid’s bikes. The original WordPress installation was outdated and crippled. Restored full WordPress functionality without changing the way the website works.
- Flowtogrow, a website made with Squarespace by communication agency Meerkat. Squarespace, however, does not support multilingual sites out of the box, so I needed to insert some clever code tweaks to allow it. Deployment via Git.
- Taramasalata.
I’ve updated the Weiyun translation files to be compatible with Weiyun 2.2 (build 1154). You can download weiyun-2.2-build-1154 from my website. After downloading and installing Tencent Weiyun (click on the blue button under Windows版), extract the files to c:\program files (x86)\tencent\weiyundisk\I81N\2052\ and overwrite the existing files. If you have a 32-bit version of windows, lose the (x86) in the above path. The translation probably does not work with the Mac version.
Enjoy and consider donating a little something if you’re happy with my work.
Tencent have released a new version of their Weiyun 微云 Windows app (build 1027). Updating to this version gives you access to notes which can be shared across devices, and fixes some other bugs. I’ve followed suit and translated any new strings. Find the file here: weiyun_2.1_1027 or at this Weiyun mirror. For installation instructions, please refer to my earlier post.
If you like my work, please consider supporting me by making a small donation in Bitcoin. The amount is entirely up to you and the transfer costs are negligible. My thanks!

Tencent have released a new version of their online storage software Weiyun 微云. The new version fixes bugs and certain strings seem to hint at the coming of notes to the software in a future version. I have translated the software strings from Chinese to English so those who do not read Chinese can now also use the software. Download the files here (mirror) and follow the instructions below.
